Terms & Conditions for Advertisers Using the Homes & Lifestyle Payment System

1. Payment & Refund Policy

  • All ad purchases are final. No refunds or cancellations are permitted once an ad has been purchased.

  • Advertisers who opt for the 12-month full-page ad plan and choose monthly payments must pay an initial amount equal to three (3) months upfront, plus one additional month. If they fail to complete the full 12-month commitment, any money collected remains with Homes & Lifestyle/King’s Promotions, and no refunds will be issued.

  • There are no auto-renewals, except for those enrolled in the 12-month full-page ad plan with monthly payments.

2. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • Advertisers who dispute a charge will be responsible for any chargeback fees incurred.

  • Homes & Lifestyle reserves the right to take legal action in the jurisdiction of the advertiser (e.g., Southern Illinois, Marion) to recover any disputed funds.

3. Ad Submission & Approval

  • Ad placements are secured on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Homes & Lifestyle reserves the right to reject any ad that does not meet our guidelines or branding standards.

  • All ads must be submitted by the 25th of each month. Ads created by Homes & Lifestyle must be approved by the advertiser by the 23rd. No changes can be made after the 25th.

  • Camera-ready ads submitted will not receive reruns or refunds.

  • If an advertiser approves an ad created by Homes & Lifestyle and an error is discovered after the ad is published, the advertiser assumes full responsibility. No refunds or reruns will be issued.

4. Performance Disclaimer

  • Homes & Lifestyle does not guarantee engagement, leads, or sales from any advertisements.

5. Legal Compliance

  • Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that their ads comply with all applicable advertising laws and regulations, whether the ad is camera-ready or designed by Homes & Lifestyle.

  • Advertisers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Homes & Lifestyle/King’s Promotions from any legal claims, disputes, or liabilities arising from their advertisements.

6. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

  • Homes & Lifestyle/King’s Promotions retains ownership of all magazine content.

  • Advertisers grant Homes & Lifestyle limited usage rights to any listing ads or vendor ads for marketing and promotional purposes.

7. Payment Methods

  • Payments are primarily processed online via Kajabi’s payment system, which supports Google Pay, Apple Pay, Stripe (credit cards), PayPal, and Klarna.

  • Check payments are accepted, but online payment is preferred for efficiency.

8. Default on Monthly Payments

  • Advertisers who fail to complete their 12-month payment commitment will no longer be eligible for the monthly payment option in the future and must pay in full upfront for any future advertising.

9. Force Majeure

  • Homes & Lifestyle/King’s Promotions is not liable for any failure to fulfill advertising obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, technological failures, or unforeseen disruptions.

By purchasing an advertisement, the advertiser acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
